During this team project we focused on optimizing the interaction and user experience of an existing product through iterative cycles of usage evaluation and redesign.

During this project we conducted extensive research on the existing product to discover common problems and opportunities for improvement. Observations and interviews were executed with both passengers and airline agents in the context.

By creating product build-ups, task flows and wireframes, the design of the product (system) was researched and redesigned.

Throughout the entire project we closely worked together with our company stakeholder. From formulating and visualizing a design brief, to communicating intermediate concept directions and ultimately the final redesign.

Using the knowledge and insights gained from the analysis phase we started to generate initial redesign concepts. Concepts included all types of UI elements of the product (touch points, types of menus, etc.) and how they relate to each other.

While developing the various concepts we kept in mind that it should be feasible to test the redesign proposal in user tests. To achieve our research goals, interactive demos and storyboards were used.
